2023 Info Session

Date: August 9th @ 7PM Eastern or August 26th @ 5PM Eastern

Each year we hold an info session before tryouts, providing prospective sailors with a chance to meet the executive committee, learn more about the team (structure, inner workings, culture), and get more information about the tryouts. We highly recommend everyone to attend who is at all interested in the team and we will be available to answer all your questions at that time.

2024 Season Tryouts

Dates: August 30th - September 1st

Location: Pointe-Claire Yacht Club

Structure

2-day long process whereby all prospective sailors will sail around courses either with other prospective sailors or current team members. Each day may also consist of fitness training. Tryouts may extend to September 1st due to weather conditions.

Transportation

Everyone will meet on campus at the RVC parking lot on Rue Sherbrooke. From there we will carpool or take public transit with current team members to the Royal. Here is a map:

Timing

Friday 1st: arrive at RVC parking lot by 2pm, arrive at the Royal by 3pm (for those going separately.) We usually end around sunset and will be back downtown around 8pm.

Saturday 2nd : arrive at RVC parking lot by 9am, arrive at the Royal by 9:30am (for those going separately.) We will be back downtown around 5pm.
